The Tillamook Inn

Check in was easy. Room has been recently updated and was clean and spacious. Walk in shower was great. There’s a convenience store attached so that’s good. The only issue we had was the door to our complex wouldn’t open with the key. And apparently this has been an ongoing problem for years. It took two trips to the office to get it fixed. After that, everything worked good. Our tv has a strange dark top half of the screen. Not unwatchable but annoying.

Pretty basic accommodation but it checked the boxes. Affordable clean and relatively quiet. Close to what we needed plus I could have my dog with me

May 2025 - the first floor rooms are currently being remodeled, including the main lobby. There are no elevators so you will have to use the stairs. You will hear construction noises during the day- sawing, hammering, etc. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet unless someone's talking outside your door. Check in took about five minutes. The young girl insisted on getting my card although it was a CLC. Otherwise, it was a smooth process. There's a fish tank by the lobby with a turtle. That's a nice little touch when you're in hotels back to back and get to see something different. My room was spacious, bigger than some King suites I've had at Best Westerns. I had a kitchen counter with a sink, mini fridge, a coffee maker, and an old-style microwave. There was a seating area with an ironing board. The view wasn't much, a field, creek, and you could see the road, but the grass was maintained and it looked like someone really cared about the property. The bathroom was a bit small but the walk-in shower was big. The sink had a well lit mirror. The bed was very comfortable and I wished I could've stayed longer. No breakfast but there is a little store by the front lobby. There is also a fish cleaning station on the opposite side of the building. Once the remodel is done this would be a great place to stay for a vacation. The outlet in the kitchen didn't seem to work, but I later moved the coffeemaker to the table by the window. Plenty of beaches within a 20 minute drive. The owner of the hotel is such a joy to chat with as well.

This is a two star review? Nah it deserves five stars. I slept here 3 nights. No bedbugs and there's comfy beds and shampoo conditioner and body soap if you didn't bring any. Best experience of my life! If I had to come back for free I would!

Clean atmosphere, rooms and lobby. Plenty of lighted parking. A well lit dog walking grassy area. Friendly staff, kitchenette with fridge, sink, stove and microwave. BEST PART - a convenient store next door from the lobby.

Still a nice clean place. I have stayed here a couple of times when it was Shilo in when they had an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as a restaurant with a bar and pool table. Restaurant is now closed and pool is gone, but still is a good place to stay. Published price is higher than I think it should be, but if you book through a travel site, you could save quite a few bucks.

You can see the improvements throughout the establishment. Our room was clean. Nice kitchen nook with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and independent sink. The water pressure is good and showers are nice. The only drawback would be the bed, they've seen a lot of years. Quite squishy and the linen didn't hide it well. There's a gas station/food mart available on property if you need a soda or coffee as the restaurant is closed. The pool is closed as well. Staff were very polite and helpful. They have veteran parking as well. I would stay here again.

The manager was a great lady. We arrived pretty much 12 hrs before check-in. Called and explained our situation. She was such a nice lady and gave me all the deets to local beaches and attractions
